This year’s journey will be held in five (5) Egyptian governorates, with covering of the 27 governorates, ensuring that all governorates have representatives. These governorates will host other governorates according to the distribution plan.

  • Matrouh: September 21-22, at the Egypt Public Library. (Done)
  • Luxor: September 29-30, at the Youth City in Luxor.
  • Fayoum: October 3-4, at the Civil Education Center in Shukhshouk.
  • Port Said: October 15-16, at the Youth City in Port Said.
  • Alexandria: October 20-21, at the Alexandria Library.
  • The event will culminate in the major gathering in Cairo on November 13-14.

the official youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The main goal is to gather young people both locally and globally to share expertise, thoughts, and ideas for better global climate action and sustainable communities.

The LCOY follows the concept of Talanoa Dialogue during the conference to share knowledge and experience for climate and environmental-related topics. The participants of this conference will discuss different topics, including climate justice, climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, climate change & agriculture, climate change & health, climate change & gender, climate policy & advocacy, and sustainable development goals.
